❤️Day 9: Themes & Symbolism🧡

Karen’s journey in Black Spirit is one of regression & finding the resolve to push past it. But as she is now, she’s finding it hard to. But she has to… not just for the others… but for herself most of all.

OC-Tober 2026 Day 9 Starring: Karen Thompson Karen stares into her bedroom vanity mirror that she broke soon after joining Team Nocturne and has not bothered asking to replace it. Karen, before joining Team Nocturne, was living a better life than most in Teron, albeit with some snags. Her entire life consisted of being the one in charge of taking care of her twin sister, Lucy while their mother was neglectful outside of being the general breadwinner of the house. Eventually, Karen would find success as an author who sold novels based off of her and Lucy’s childhood adventures that they would imagine alongside Karen’s partner Pokémon, Garden (a Male Gardevoir that they found as an egg when children). It would allow Karen and Lucy to live on their own away from their mother who was very ignorant to Karen’s transition. Never calling her by her new name, and the frequent “Oh, I almost mistook you for your sister” comments before defaulting back to her birthname. However, Lucy would get sick and Karen would be tricked into joining the Luminous to help pay for the rapidly increasing hospital bills. Some time later, an assassination attempt was placed on Karen and it resulted in Garden’s death, posing as Karen. She was dead in the eyes of the public, and most importantly, whoever was trying to get her. She was brought into Team Nocturne shortly after but now she doesn’t even get to see her sister anymore and lost her best friend. It gets harder and harder for her to try and stay in a good headspace. She views herself as regressing and gets incredible amounts of gender envy towards Jane who is infinitely more popular than she is on the team, and in general, lacks someone to confide in. She has Simon now to do so, but despite that, she still has her moments of doubt… but she’ll enjoy the company and validation however she can. If Simon can do it, so can she… right?

Artists, show us how you draw black women! 💖💖💖

(Tyla in pic 2 belongs to @frizzyfox.bsky.social)

A colorless digital sketch on a purple background. The sketch is of a fat black trans woman, with a heart shaped afro, and wearing a hoodie. She has a joyous expression on her face, with eyes resembling triangles with no bottoms, and an open mouth smile, revealing the gap between her two front teethA colored digital drawing of a buff woman named Tyla. Said buff woman has long green and gray hair that goes past her shoulders. Tyla's eye color is red. Tyla also has a mole on her cheek. Tyla is also wearing a life guard top, red with a white cross, short enough that it exposes her abs, and a black open jacket over said top. Tyla has black nail polish on. Tyla is flexing her big muscular arms while smiling, she looks perhaps a bit flirtatious. The background is a solid blueish purple, meant to give vibes similar to the ocean, perhaps at night

Despite Frossy’s inner doubts, Levy reassures her that she’s not emotionless or anything. She’s seen her smile & cry before. One of Levy’s core memories is when she came out as trans to both her and Maggy & it was the first time she saw Frossy cry. Tears of happiness no less…

A traditional sketch of my fursona Space, a fat trans woman opossum, with short hair, big round black ears, a long tail, a skintight suit with a black belt around the hips, black gloves, and black boots. Space is seemingly trapped at the bottom of a dark pit, with an expression of shock and despair on her face, her frown revealing a single fang. The sketch is colorless, but has anything that would be black shaded in with pencil, including the aforementioned features on Space, Space's pupils, and her dark surroundings.

❤️Day 4: Under-Appreciated OC 🧡

That’s right, it’s Simon again! He tends to be my least popular uploads & was my only OC who had no attacks this year on AF u_u so I wanna keep pushing for my dorky tboy to get more love whenever possible! [Read Alt 4 more!]

OC-Tober Day 4: Under-Appreciated OC Starring: Simon T. Demir (he/him, age 24) Simon is the latest member of Team Nocturne and half of his team consists of starters his father gave him (not as gifts but more so company to talk to growing up since his only real human interactions growing up were his mom and his servants). Joining Team Nocturne has been a humbling experience for him as he likes to view himself cooler than he actually is but most people kinda think he’s a tool. Despite this, he’s actually a very powerful trainer and managed to rank as an admin during his time on the team (it’s only been a year!). For someone who never really had friends in his age range, he’s surprisingly really good at putting himself out there. Growing up wealthy (as well as being heir to Demir Corp.), his views on reality were pretty warped but joining Team Nocturne has given him a rude awakening on the struggles that the people of Teron live in their every day lives. The worst part is, he knows his family name is a huge factor in this… how he’ll go about living with this reality, and how his entire identity is based around wanting to be a great man like his father… it’s the crux of his journey throughout Pokémon Black Spirit. Life ain’t all Anime and Rainbows bucko

A traditional uncolored sketch of my fursona Space, showing her side profile. Space is an anthro opossum with short hair, big black ears, cartoony pie eyes, a long snout, a long tail, and a big toothy grin. She's wearing a skin tight suit that has a belt wrapped around the hips, as well as gloves and boots.

I drew Levy last year for this prompt, so this year I drew Karen! I did make Team Nocturne only a year later after the sisters after all… just look at how happy she is to take this picture! ^w^

My dnd oc Renli had to kill a shadow version of his twin brother Talon to bring their older brother back to life. it was very angsty. my fav >:3c

#dnd #drow #transoc #digitalart

I played around with directional shading and lighting after being taught about "pillow shading" by a friend. I'll get better as I but I think it still turned out good! :D this is my drow oc Renli choking his twin brother Talon to death. It's not really his brother but fucked him up all the same. Renli is a blood hunter class so his eyes are entirely red and he is crying blood. both brothers have dark grey-blue skin and light blonde hair.

Skyler’s ballet class when she enrolled

(See ALT for details, and apologies cuz it’s a long one…)

A ballet class, and these are some of the students. Young Skyler is there standing near a gray wall with a bar, while looking at some other students. In the left foreground, there is a male student with brown hair. In the background, there are two teenage students near the windows: A female student with blonde hair and navy eyes, and a male student with brown hair and green eyes. There are also three students having a conversation in the right foreground: a male student with blonde hair and dark green eyes, a transgender girl student with cyan eyes, ribbon, and ponytail, and a female student with orange hair and bronze eyes. For lore: Upon her first days of ballet class, Skyler was unsure about fitting in despite wanting to take up ballet. Skyler would actually get along quite well with her peers in the class, and she would improve her ballet skills each day. Of course, she would later meet Stella a few days later during ballet class, and she would become one of Skyler’s girlfriends.

Digital illustration of Bellamy, a muscular trans cat man posing against a light blue background. He has large feline ears, a fluffy multicolored tail, tousled white, brown, and orange hair, light facial stubble, and heterochromia with one blue and one golden eye. He wears a cropped navy top with brown leather straps and gold hardware, matching arm guards, and low-rise navy pants with a wide leather belt. His outfit leaves his muscular chest, and stomach visible.
