10.10.26 Happy birthday to one of my favorite books of all time!

On the left is Knell, a ragged man with a thin face, beaming, as he holds a plate with a slice of cake with massive insect head smushed onto it. He has the rest of the insect’s body slung over his shoulder. He’s handing the cake slice to his companion, Percy, a buff man with a scared face and in scuffed armor. He is decidedly less enthused and may actually be on the brink of bolting. His eyes are turned towards the viewer in a silent plea. The rest of the cake is on stone table between them with the words “Happy 1ST!” on it. A smaller, yet still oversized, insect is at the corner of the table, wearing a party hat. On the bottom reads the caption: Just because you’re on the run, doesn’t mean you can’t have fun!”
