I have just been talking to a very nice man from United Utilities re my late mum’s water bill.

He asked for my address, and when I told him he said, “Oh, I drove through your #TownNotAVillage once when I got lost! Lovely little place.” 😂

Have just found out that a lad (who of course is no longer young!) from our #TownNotAVillage who left to go to university and then become a teacher in Liverpool, gave up teaching and now runs 3 pubs in the city!

My favourite Jazzeralike in our #TownNotAVillage calls me Lynda (Snell), or sometimes Yvette (Cooper), and I secretly really love it. #TheArchers

My nearest pub is walkable even for me, and regularly wins Camra awards. It’s also the social hub of our #TownNotAVillage and I would really miss it if I had to move.

Just been to our #TownNotAVillage Film Club, to see The Ladykillers, with Alistair Sim et al. Very enjoyable, and a good-sized audience.

About as diverse as my #TownNotAVillage! But most of us aren’t racist twats to boot.

Never heard of this Canadian trio before, but their vocal style reminds me a lot of Simon and Garfunkel.
