@therealitycomics.bsky.socialTechnically, it's Saturday where i am, but my #TopShelfFriday pick? Some of my MARSHAL LAW comics!
written by Pat Mills
drawn by Kevin O'Neill!!
A brilliant superhero satire w/a comedic S&M bent. (B/c, if you're a superhero in spandex, you're OBVIOUSLY a perv!) It's great stuff!
@keptman42.bsky.social#TopShelfFriday Captain Canuck #1 signed by artist and creator Richard Comely. This is my original from July 1975. I have had this since I was 7.
@snowmanscomics.bsky.socialI absolutely loved Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows so when I learned that this existed I had to get it! University ² is his college paper strip and is the beginnings of Liberty Meadows.
#TopShelfFriday
@sandyjarrell.comThis one’s got a pretty good cover, I think
@drsandd.bsky.social#TopShelfFriday, Halloween is approaching with concerning speed, so here's the American Vampire Omnibus Vol.1! One of my faves, I love it's take on different types of vampires. It's got drama, comedy and of course bloody action, I'd definitely recommend the series if you've never read it!🦇

@monstersocietyevil.bsky.socialTop Shelf Friday time, what's a comic in your collection that you love? ❤️
One I always wanted. DD #8 (1965), 1st app Stilt Man, gorgeous art by Wally Wood. That gravity defying cover! Rough enough that I’ll upgrade if I can, but even as it is I love it.
@mstrauss.bsky.socialI have a lot of Defenders comics but for #TopShelfFriday, let’s go with my favorite cover pun.
@weirdphd.bsky.socialThis is one of my new pickups for #TopshelfFriday. Love the cover, which is the reason I picked up the book, but don't know who the cover artist is:
@zackdavisson.comI'm not really a graded comics guy but recently been thinking I should get some of my more valuable comics preserved.
@nlogan77.bsky.social
@kideternity1942.bsky.socialSticking with a Halloween theme, I'm picking Tales of the Zombie #10 for #TopShelfFriday #comicbooks

Fantastic Four #275 (1985)
@xmencomicssteve.bsky.socialCool pickup! For #TopShelfFriday I’m going with NYX #3 (2004), first app of Laura Kinney/X-23/Wolverine.
This came out during my Big Comic Break, had to drive a few hours through a big snowstorm to a con to happen upon a reasonably priced raw copy. Laura’s a huge fav now.
@marvelman76.bsky.socialVery nice pick looks a great comic, I actually won an eBay bid for a copy of this a couple days ago so I can’t with until I get it.
Here’s my pick, my issue of Defenders 1 that I got a couple months back #Defenders #TopShelfFriday
@spyvinyl.bsky.socialOne from yesterday’s dig. Photo/incentive cover.
#TopShelfFriday #DS9
@johnhunter38655.bsky.socialMy #TopShelfFriday is a story I just read in trade, Fantastic Four #19 by Ryan North and Carlos Gomez, featuring Alicia Masters, Private Eye. Hands down the best What If? or Elseworlds story I've ever read, but North puts a bow on it by cleverly tying this genre exercise into the FF's larger story …
@scottms.bsky.socialA slightly unusual #topshelffriday for me. One of my biggest artistic inspirations passed away this week: Matt Howarth. I've posted some stuff of his on past Friday's, but here's a bunch of Howarth stuff including my shortbox which is JUST Howarth stuff. #comics #comicsky

This week, a new pickup! Marvel Feature #3 (1972)
