BONUS: Why does Kirsty take the time to put on the Julia skin to save Tiffany, the mostly mute girl with Lament Configuration box-solving skills? Also, Ashley and Doug show up for the #TLDI epi and Ashley takes a shine to Ernie, which is delightful

578/—‘Hellbound: Hellraiser II’ #TLDI (Season 2, 6/19/2020). Picks up where 1 left off, with Kirsty in a mental hospital run by a mad doc with an interest in the occult. Julia returns from the bloody bed and everyone goes to Hell. Inmate cutting himself scene is brutal

572/—‘Humanoids of the Deep’ The first ‘Roger Corman Night’ on #TLDI Season 3 finale (6/18/2021). JBB is Corman’s biggest fan. Asks and answers the question, ‘What if the Creature from the Black Lagoon got the girl?’ Rog doesn’t direct; still, movie is pure Corman

Can’t believe I didn’t know this! Today I learned that from 1970-75, a real-life guy named Larry Vincent—who went by #SinisterSeymour —was the Saturday nite horror host for ‘Fright Night’ in LA (pre-‘Elvira’s Movie Macabre’)
