@liamomaraiv.bsky.social#JimCroce died in an aeroplane crash in the evening on #ThisDayInHistory in 1973 during a concert tour. The hired #Beechcraft had just taken off in #Louisiana when it crashed, killing all on board. Croce was only 30 years old. His song #TimeInABottle hit number one posthumously.
@jojomineo69.bsky.socialHis #TimeInABottle song was filled with meaning after his tragic plane crash. We lost so many famous singers that way back in the day. Lynerd Skynerd guys, Patsy Cline, Otis Redding, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ricky nelson. All gone far too soon. May they all RIP.
@lorried-la.bsky.socialToday's "oldie but goodie" is "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce, 1972.
