Last weekend we went to Ft. Stevens to see some birds and as we were driving out of the park, this magnificent creature posed in a tree along the side of the road. I was driving so my brother captured this for me through the passenger side window. #Birds #ThursJay #Raven #ECK

The light is soft and shows the oily iridescent look of its neck and shoulder feathers. It also shows a reflection in its eye.
