“Right from the opening track, "#SpeedyBeady"—an amusing tale about a particularly bold rooster—she demonstrates her storytelling skills & knack for crafting catchy melodies. Later on, "#LoveWill" conveys a message of hope, backed by excellent guitar work,” #ThunderintheHouse #NL #EU #BluesMagazine

Image is of Eliza Neals idilic album cover “Thunder In The House” with the Netherlands premier blues magazine review as follows:

“Hailing from Detroit — the birthplace of numerous American music legends — Eliza Neals continues to evolve with “Thunder In The House”, an album that showcases her talents as a singer, songwriter, and pianist. After years of performing in her hometown clubs and a career spanning 13 studio albums, she delivers a powerful, sincere record deeply rooted in modern blues. It features nine original tracks, all written or co-written by Neals, blending energy, emotion, and authenticity. Right from the opening track, "Speedy Beady"—an amusing tale about a particularly bold rooster—she demonstrates her storytelling skills and knack for crafting catchy melodies. Later on, "Love Will" conveys a message of hope, backed by excellent guitar work, while "Wicked Heart" highlights the intensity of her powerful voice. The title track, "Thunder In The House," closes the album on a darker note, underscored by remarkable slide guitar playing. Backed by excellent musicians, Eliza Neals impresses with the richness of her compositions and the strength of her delivery. Her voice — warm and soulful — gives each song a distinct personality. *Thunder In The House* is undoubtedly a blues album not to be missed this year.”
