Today is Mad Hatter Day! This is one of my favorite characters! We're all a little mad; the Mad Hatter makes it ok to be like that! He is his true, authentic self - may we all be like that! #madhatterday #aliceinwonderland #throughthelookingglass

Tonight Youtube is showing us—I am not making this up—the U.S. Pizza Team Acrobatic Trials. It's not far off rhythm gymnastics where the apparatus is pizza dough. There's a judges' table. The commentator has names for the different dough spinning tricks. What. #throughthelookingglass

. . . and then somehow you find yourself watching televised pillow fighting (with play-by-play and color commentary) on ESPN.

The (national? world?) champion wins $5k and a belt. This is a thing. What the hell is happening.

something seems a little off,
yet this time it’s not me,
my orderly world turned upside down,
confusingly grateful in it, I will be!_
