Some more incredibly sad news to share this morning; that Special Constable Samuel Brown 5293 SE died on Monday. 😔

Thinking of his friends, family, loved ones and colleagues both in and outside of policing, at this truly sad time for everybody who knew him.

“Hi Mate, not sure if it’s your bag, any chance of a patch for those of us qualified to drive the replacement for the Jankel?

Cheeky little badge of honour for the Sandcat would be class!”

It’s only a test but it’s going to look epic if I do say so myself. 😅

Remembering PC Keith Blakelock QGM who was murdered in the line of duty 41 years ago today.

Murdered defending fire fighters who had come under attack whilst fighting a fire during serious disorder on the Broadwater Farm Estate.

His legacy of bravery lives on.

Ok, Section 34 of the Anti Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, let’s talk about it. 👀

“Hi Mate! As I’m sure you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I had an idea!

I know certain forces around the world turn their patches pink to promote awareness (think LAPD) any chance you could turn your Police Line Brick Pink?”

Too right. ✅

“Hi, Sunday is my Dad’s last operational shift with his GPD before he retires and they move on to a new handler.

He’s heartbroken but understands because she’s so young and has years of work left.

Please could you build them? He loves what you do.”

Done. ✅

It’s been a few weeks since PC Matthew Blades & PC Tom Clough were killed in the line of duty and their loss is still felt deeply.

Inspector Graves is running the Cardiff half marathon tomorrow to support their families, his just giving page is in the comments.

“Hi there! I’ve been sent your way for some expert help! My amazing Dad is about to retire from The Guards after 30 years dedicated service to his community.

He secretly loves Lego and his new puppy! Any chance of building them both please?”

A pleasure. ✅

Policing is tough at the moment, really tough.

So to be able to do something small to give back means a lot.

To the winners, they’ll be in the post and on the way later today.

And to everyone else, keep your eyes peeled, there’s so much more coming soon! 👀

Another week, another Police Officer seriously injured in the line of duty. 😔

During a number of dawn raids across the country this morning, a Metropolitan Police Officer was stabbed in the leg in Cockfosters.

Wishing our colleague a very speedy recovery.

They're busy trying to cover it up for the next year while it blemishes my otherwise clean criminal record, while still continuing to harass me and electronically in my new home province.

But hey, Dale got his promotion.

I’ve been made aware of some incredibly sad news this evening that PC Alex Ayre of Dorset Police died last Friday. 😔

My thoughts are with his friends, family, loved ones and of course his Dorset Police colleagues too at this very difficult time. 🫡

It’s odd that some will demand secure borders, but also then demand to know the details of a counter terrorism investigation.

The level of vetting required to work in CT is incredibly intrusive.

Yes there’s intrigue, but investigations take time and diligence.

A good rule to learn about any kind of investigation, is that there are always three sides to any story.

Yours, their’s and the truth.

And the truth is often more mundane and boring than most will imagine, but if you dig hard enough you’ll always get to it. 👀

Today we remember our wonderful friends who didn’t go home.

Our friends, who turned up and gave their absolute all.

Turned up, and did what most couldn’t or wouldn’t.

God we miss them.

But we’re so proud of everything they did and always will be.

Incredibly tragic news today from Australia, that Constable Mia Lay of New South Wales Police has died in the line of duty in Sydney, whilst responding to an emergency call. 😔

Thinking of her friends, family, loved ones and of course colleagues at such a difficult time.
