@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyPretty sure that Klingon ship is going too damn slow for Warp 10, that would have skipped them right out of the Solar System in the blink of an eye.
Also, they would degenerate into salamanders.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyOf course the real episode prequel to this movie is #TomorrowIsYesterday, which had the slingshot maneouvre.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyI saw this movie last week paired with #CityOnTheEdgeOfForever, and when McCoy says, "Now wait just a damn minute," it almost felt like a direct reference to how sideways a time travel mission could go.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyIs there even a Sick Bay for McCoy to man on the Klingon Bird of Prey scout ship?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gy@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyI dunno whose idea that Vulcan quiz was, but it's fascinating and creepy as hell.

@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyCan't say there's much similar between #CityOnTheEdgeOfForever and #TheVoyageHome:
- There's time travel
- A car almost runs over Kirk in both
- Spock disguises his ears
- Kirk meets a woman and they have some chemistry 🤷♂️
Other than that, the one cool thing about watching them back to back […]
@zombieelvis.bsky.socialDamage control is easy. Reading Klingon? That’s hard.
