Comic page titled PAGE 6 - THE VORTEX HOLDS. Top panel: Five superheroes standing together in front of a large unstable purple vortex swirling with floating rocks and a volcanic mountain background. From left to right: Blaze, a muscular Black man with cracked orange lava skin and flaming fists wearing black tactical pants; Glacier, a woman with a blue ponytail in light blue armor holding a glowing blue hexagonal energy shield; Thorn, a woman with green vine hair decorated with small flowers and leaves wearing a green leaf costume with green energy glowing from her hands; Neura, a Black woman with long dark hair wearing a purple tech suit and purple headphones, with purple energy in her hands; and Shadow, a tall man in a black hooded cloak and black mask with only glowing blue eyes visible, surrounded by black shadow tendrils and holding purple energy. Three speech balloons read: "Everyone steady! The vortex is destabilizing after that fight! / Fiquem firmes! O vórtice está instável após essa luta!" and "We hold the line. Together we can close it. / Mantemos a posição. Juntos podemos fechá-lo." Middle and bottom panels show villains retreating: The Council of Darkness including a red-skinned horned demon lord with large ram horns and red cape, a lava cracked obsidian armored titan, a giant black scorpion beast, a black rhino beetle beast, and a medusa snake woman with black snake hair and gold armor. Text boxes say "THE COUNCIL RETREATS, OUTNUMBERED" and "IRON LEGION 10000 - The Legion will return ten thousand strong!" and "THE COUNCIL VOWS RETURN - We will regroup. We return stronger. The darkness consumes all! Next time, you fall."
