I think I feel this way because as Aristotle describes it, mimesis is a reflection of "reality," but also as a way to show social change. Wiley's juxtaposition is displaying black men in a way they have been historically left out.

@ryanl26.bsky.socialI honestly think Wiley's version of Napolean feels more real to me. It's just the type of clothing that I think I can relate to more since he's in clothing that I'll more likely wear as opposed to the actual Napolean's royal blue robe.
