It’s been a magical experience to flip back into the world of the Territories, or step through the book like a doorway into Mid-World one last time. At 50 pages in, I already feel like it’s going too fast & I don’t want this journey to end. #stephenking #otherworldsthanthese #darktower #thetalisman

Right here and now, I’m just glad I get to travel with Jack one last time.

And so we begin...

No spoilers from me. Read the first two chapters of #OtherWorldsThanThese. Wonderful to see Midworld again, and welcome back, Jacky boy. I hated putting this thing down. As a long time Tower junky, I can already tell Ima love this. #booksky #horrorsky #books #horror #TheTalisman

My new @stephenking.bsky.social book just arrived & I canny underestimate how much I'm looking forward to reading this, over 800 pages long so it'll take me a while.

HA! HAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
His Mother did not give him enough attention
HIM: "Hug me Mommy!"
MOMMY: "Wait until I've finished smoking my Tarrytoon."

Not only are there two big movies, but now a connected TV show: Welcome to Derry.
Absolutely no reason why a Talisman show can't exist (especially now with the imminent publication of #OtherWorldsThanThese ).
Anyway, these are my thoughts on adapting #TheTalisman for TV.

This is how you do a TV series of #TheTalisman
Cast 3 actors of different ages to portray Jack Sawyer from each book.
Film 1 season per book (with the option of including flashbacks/flashforwards with the different actors) but shoot them all in one go.
Make each season 8 episodes to keep the writing

I'm re-reading the Talisman while waiting for the third book. Jack is currently in New York heading west, near Lake Ontario. I can't imagine reading this if it was Lake America. Sheesh. What crazy times. It's like a dumb Morgan of Orris is running the country. @Stephenking.bsky.social #thetalisman
