After three albums as The Quick, Colin Campsie & George McFarlane resurfaced in 1988 as Giant Steps... Their lone LP, The Book of Pride, was released on A&M, with Gardner Cole helping with production and co-writing its biggest song, “Another Lover.” #TheQuick #GiantSteps #OneHitWondered

Leaning much harder into new wave, synth-pop & club music, The Quick’s biggest 🇺🇸 breakthrough came with 1981’s “Zulu” (written by Campsie & McFarlane) which became a genuine US club hit, climbing all the way to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. #TheQuick #OneHitWondered #MusicSky
