youtube.com/@cassielstud... is my third YouTube channel where I ( #kailacrosse ) and #TonyaKitsune narrate stories written by me in a series #ShadowsRealm . Shadow's Realm is suppose to be our version of #TwilightZone , #TheOuterLimits , and shows like that.

#TheOuterLimits Novella 11 cont'd.
Again a decent story that doesn't outstay its welcome. The idea of animals taking over is one of the more entertaining ideas in this novella run by John Peel. Just one more of his 12 novellas to go after this now.

#Sliders TV 3.03 cont'd.
Where else have I seen the Vasquez Rocks:

#TheOuterLimits Novella #11 "The Payback" (15-May-99).
The penultimate John Peel novella.

Review: soon

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.12 cont'd.
That time travel double dip should affect the timeline or have some other affect on Rubinek but no. What's his ex supposed to think about the girl? They might've made a point about obsession and work not making you free but it went for an unwanted saccharin coda.

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.12 cont'd.
Saul Rubinek plays a US Nazi hunter who works legally, ie so isn't an Israeli murderer. The ep's strength is when Rubinek's ideals are tested.
For me the ep should stop with time travel when the Nazi kills himself but then it double dips with rescuing his dead sister.

#TheOuterLimits TV ep #7.12 "Tribunal" (14-May-99).
This is TOL's most amibtious ep as it's a serious recreation of Auschwitz. It's got time travel in it so it has to tread a fine line so as not to trivialise the ep's serious intent. And it is great for 41' until the coda screws the entire pooch.

#TheOuterLimits TV 7.11 cont'd.
Though too theatrical a premise for TOL this could've been a very strong pilot for a Canadian TV show set in Victorian London. Wasn't #Sanctuary one such show later? #Warehouse13 did one such ep much later too. Albeit I think both mostly used SFX to create London.

Another mysterious death in Jackson and the police have no
clue who the killer is.
Have they gotten away with murder?

Has an authentic London feel? This can't be made in Canada surely? It really was made in the UK according to IMDB or was it? Unclear.

Despite this pitiful premise this ep is a lot better than it has any rights to be.
Excellent cast too led by David Warner.

#TheOuterLimits TV ep #5.11 "Ripper" (07-May-00).
What if Jack the Ripper was innocent as the murderer is an alien. Ah well. Awful premise.

At least the London recreation wasn't the usual US TV effort. It was done well, ie not OTT cliche.

Another Jack the Ripper ep for @holgerhaase.bsky.social?

#TheOuterLimits TV 5.10 cont'd.
Fuck me but this ep make so many bad decisions in the last quarter. What a mess it ended up as ultimately.
This ep is not the son of God as this ep is a naughty boy.

#TheOuterLimits TV ep #5.10 "The Shroud" (30-Apr-99).
This ep should be good and unique. A scientific undertaking to create the second coming. But then there's terrible decisions throughout that drag it into mediocre at best.
The telekinesis is dumb, lots of ADR and the spycam footage was shit.

#TheOuterLimits TV 5.09 cont'd.
The cast in this is so good: Jane Adams, Peter Outerbridge, Jill Teed, Brent Stait, April Telek, Bruce Harwood, Garwin Sanford.
It is a grotesque black comedy that shakes off the bog standard TOL limitations and what results is a no holds barred engaging experience.
