'Pretending to be baby Titus wasn’t always the easiest, especially just after I’d had an in depth conversation with my wife, but I looked at her for a few seconds, seeing the amusement in her eyes.'

'“Phoebe only ever had one child… who wasn’t Wolfgang’s.”

“Anne…”

“Sybil had your eyes, Titus.”

Eyes closed, teeth buried in his bottom lip, Titus looked down, his back tense. “You’ve always known?”'

'“No matter what, Mama, the ritual will happen.” Words I knew were true, even though I didn’t entirely understand why. “Titus needs it to. He’s got some kind of plan.”

“Let me try, and if that doesn’t change anything we can try something else.”'

After some work yesterday I have the livewriting channel up and running at the Discord. I don't know about October, this month is complicated due to real life, but I'm going to be livewriting a new chapter at least once a week from November. Schedule to be decided.

'“There was no until, Sebastian. Anne’s death wouldn’t free her. She’d be an insane soul, trapped in death, with no way out.”

Sheer horror showed in both their faces. I’d reacted the same when Thaddeus Showed me Anne’s futures.'

The Lockwoods is written entirely without Generative AI, and always will be. Every arc is my own creation. Originally it did start as SimsLit, but then gained a life of its own, leading us to what it's become now - the stories of the multiverse of Marren Vale (and Taliesin).

'Anne’s voice broke, more tears streaming down her cheeks. “Whatever happens he doesn’t believe I’m going to need him any more.” She closed her eyes. “Do you know how much I want to tell him?”'

'Unlike most of our fathers Thaddeus truly cared for Anne. If I didn’t know any better I might have said he was the reincarnation of Papa. For the first time what I had to do hurt, in ways it never had before. The man I’d had a chance to get to know was a good person.'

There's not a lot there yet, just some threads with links to the first posted chapters, but the Discord exists. I do have plenty more I'll be doing with it, but, for now, it's just nice to have it. Currently the invite is for 50 members, which, to me, is a good start.

Currently the only Titus and Anne arcs were once the 'Main Arc' for the Sims Lit, but this is a very different story. There will be something similar to it as it was, although I don't believe it's going to be a Titus arc. Instead it will be one of Anne's other protectors...

Another day done, and I'm seeing some days are better than others, so I'll keep experimenting before I make any final decisions, especially as I made some small changes to the website today, for better navigation. I still want to update the welcome page, but I never know what's best.

'When he said no, trying to be far more gentle about it than I could imagine being in that situation, she made certain choices I tried desperately to talk her out of, even though she couldn’t hear me, which led to Anne learning about Titus’s feelings for her…'

'“Fortunately for me Thaddeus came to understand that, because he didn’t ask me to make the same vow. He gave me the freedom to tell Anne whenever the right time was. Only I died instead.”'
