@threedogheads.bsky.socialThe dreams and dreams within dreams in this movie are like deliberate disinformation (my soapbox) as the audience grows less and less able to discern what is real. Tricked enough times, one begins to believe everything and not believe anything.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialA little too much so some days.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialAgreed.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialI don't know what I expected since I read nothing about it, but this is not what I expected. Not just darker, but increasingly darker.
That bit with mystery photograph was quite moving.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialI'm not in control or able to control the present. Is was better before when I could control.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialBoth imply fear and impotence.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialOkay, so that switch from Monique as child with her mother to the next where she's an adult was awesome.
@threedogheads.bsky.social"You can't fall asleep because you're already dreaming."

@threedogheads.bsky.socialI've only had three all-new films in the last couple of weeks, so it's good.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialThis is one I haven't seen. And I know nothing about it. Yay.

The Jewish concept of reincarnation
or the transmigration of souls. Note the Jezebel / Taylor Swift connection.
