"Why, that cholo's plum loco!"
That's cholA, you shitkicking hick. Having said that, first appearance of the term in a movie?
A very dreamy Christopher Plummer tells a little anecdote about Ian Keith (starting at 3:55).
Get her Myrna! She’s annoying.

It’s 8:00 pm, that’s bed time out here
Yeah, sure. Whatever you say.
I am really…tired?
I am not at all poetic, so I can't help but point out that Keith has gifted us several notable moose knuckle moments in those pants.
Ian Keith had a troubled, dissipated life story, so of course I’m madly in love with him.
Great voice, handsome face. He had the makings for a big time movie star career, but fate was not kind.
(I’m so poetic this morning)

Yes! And Dolores Costello almost died from pneumonia!
The material is offensively stupid, but even mired in trash baby Myrna shoots lightning bolts from her eyes and commits to the hilt. It's a sharp contrast to the wan, stiff performances all around her.
This guy sure is high and mighty in his judgments for a fake bandido, kidnapper and, what, breaker of women like they're horses? Sicko.
My ears weep with relief. Although it turns out her accent is only a small part of #TheGreatDivide 's suckery. They're saving the only exotic Myrna movie I actually like, Thirteen Women, for next Monday closer to the primetime Thin Man marathon.
Fascinating! I never thought of the space the soundtrack occupied on the film strip requiring a chance in aspect ratios. It was noticeable in the Chuck Jones documentary #TCM just aired where they explained how sound was recorded first and the cells shot on the black strip.
I'm already distinctly over the awful accents of the exotical Myrna Loy era and I'm only at the second movie.
