Finished #IainRobWright's #TheGates series--6 books--so pretty epic. Overall I enjoyed it. It had a fast pace and grabbed me from the first chapters. Did for demons what The Walking Dead did for zombies. Fun #horrorbook

@pmoll.bsky.socialI was late and distracted, but I enjoyed #TheGates and found it soothing, particularly the setting, those nice young men, Buddy Garrity, and JVDB as villain.
Glad I got see his last role. Probably wouldn't have watched this without #Frightclub, so thanks all and thanks for the chat! RIP James 🙏♥️🕯️
@filmfatale217.bsky.socialI had no idea that movie existed but it wasn't half bad. It was sad to see James looking so unwell, but he did a fine job with that role.
@avantgardea.bsky.socialGonna go pour one out for our fallen homie, James Van Der Beek. Nite all, it's been fun. #TheGates #FrightClub
@ibetta.bsky.socialMarch.
@avantgardea.bsky.socialEven the little bit he kept tucked in his mini man bun couldn't keep him going. #TheGates #FrightClub
@amylouna.bsky.socialRIP, FNL Kenny Rogers. Thanks for the fun, #FrightClub!
@avantgardea.bsky.socialWait, he got shot in the shoulder and now he's dead? What a delicate little flower. #TheGates #FrightClub
@pmoll.bsky.socialUnless I missed something, this movie seems surprisingly pro-police.
@avantgardea.bsky.socialHe tried to kill me with a forklift! #TheGates #FrightClub
@trendtags.bsky.social@avantgardea.bsky.socialVan Der Beek gonna beat cheek...or two. #TheGates #FrightClub
@avantgardea.bsky.socialVan Der Beek is having a fit of pique, apparently. #TheGates #FrightClub
@amylouna.bsky.socialWow, they are going through Biblical genealogy. Who begat whom, etc.
@avantgardea.bsky.socialThat there is some cold hard congregation cash. #TheGates #FrightClub
@ibetta.bsky.socialThat’d almost make it worth getting shot…
@filmfatale217.bsky.socialI tried to warn him.
@bobloblaw72.bsky.socialIf some dude is going to shoot me, I really don't want to hear him saying a bunch of scripture first. Unless it's Ezekiel 25:17. Cause that would actually be kind of awesome!

#TheGates
@avantgardea.bsky.socialThey're just gonna let Van Der Beek skip off into the darkness to meet up with his timid woodland friends? #TheGates #FrightClub
