Wow, reports are Toluca have parted with Alberto Toril. Sounds like mutual agreement and maybe motivated by personal reasons for Toril?
Short stay for the former Real Madrid head coach.

@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialOMG and a horrible error from Alvarado gifts Chivas a goal moments later. Crazy couple minutes.
Can't tell if Alvarado slipped while throwing the ball or just went down after Lopez intercepted the pass, but a horrible goal to concede when they should have been ahead.
Chivas 1-0 Juarez
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialJuarez just got robbed of a lead against Chivas on a horrible offside call.
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialLooks like Portia Boakye to Pumas was officially announced yesterday.
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialPachuca, too, gave parted with their head coach. #TheFemenil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.social#TheFemenil news:
(1) Tigres announced the signing of Ghanaian, Susan Ama Duah (I believe Portia Boakye to Pumas remains an ambassadorial rumor)
(2) Newcomers, Atlante, have parted with head coach Nicolás Morales
(3) That very same Nicolás Morales may be next head coach of U20 Mexico Women’s team
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialFor the #TheFemenil fans:
Geyse, Isa Haas & Priscila from America
Mariza from Tigres
got callups to Brazil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.social@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialTigres level after Toluca bring some of that "defending is optional" to marking on crosses.
1-1
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialToluca take the lead! A nice finish from Le Sommer.
Toluca 1-0 Tigres #TheFemenil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialRebeca Contreras coming off injured for Atl. San Luis. She was in tears and distressed. Looked arm/elbow/shoulder related and seemed non-contact? Maybe when she fell after a header. Hopefully nothing too serious. #TheFemenil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialAtlas neeeeeeearly stole it late, but a great sliding tackle from whoever was retreating saved the day. Final whistle shortly after.
Atlas have drawn with Club America!
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialGreat save from Camila Vasquez to save the draw. #TheFemenil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialAtlas basically bunkering at this point in 2nd half stoppage. Makes sense but may be their undoing. America getting loads of pressure. #TheFemenil
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialPenalty to Atlas, but right at the keeper. Easily saved.
Score remains America 2-2 Atlas.
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialIrene Guerrero says 'not so fast' on that upset. Her (deflection assisted?) blast makes it 2-2.
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialAtlas are up 2-1 on America!
Sanjuana Munoz gives them the lead cleaning up a defensive error.
Upset brewing?
@thebestisjeff.bsky.social#TheFemenil half time segment featured Katty Martinez riding shotgun around a test track with a professional driver in a high performance Nissan, and I feel like the #NWSL needs to step up its half time game. Pundit commentary just doesn't cut it.
@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialCatching up on the America v Atlas match, and Vasthy Delgado was close to scoring the equalizer. Her shot was blocked by a defender and then turned in by Karen Flores. So, a kinda assist.
1-1 in the 33'

@thebestisjeff.bsky.socialGlad to see Higuera immediately back in starting lineup. Subbed out for injury in loss to Santos. Glad it was nothing serious. #TheFemenil
