That was fun!!! What a charming film! And it is harkening back to old Douglas Fairbanks films. Well done! 👏👏👏👏

Certainly not his teeny tiny nipples.

Heyyy Shirtless Burt Lancaster 😍 #TheCrimsonPirate #TCMParty

This movie has it all… love, treachery, men in drag, escape by balloon, acrobatics….. I love it

This array of (weaponry) is certainly “over” the top ••• 🤩 #TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate

#TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate It’s fun to watch a comedy directed by Robert Siodmak, and in color too, as opposed to his black and white film noirs. He handles both well!

Uh oh…. How do they get out of this?

It’s “Burt. Lancaster. Is. Hot.” In semaphore. #TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate

“You misjudged our men. Don’t misjudge our women.” YOU GOT THAT RIGHT! #TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate

Can’t believe I’m late for this! I’ve never seen it all the way through! #TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate

The fave that Burt is a summer blonde in #TheCrimsonPirate #TCMparty

What is this guy wearing? A skirt? Culottes? Short bloomers? #TheCrimsonPirate #tcmparty #classicfilm

#TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate
Beefcake Alert ‼️

#TCMParty #TheCrimsonPirate
More acrobatics please!!!

You know those cattle that have the double muscle mutation and look like absolute units? I'm pretty sure Burt Lancaster has double teeth.

Man Burt Lancaster was well fit, as the Brits say
