@phibianaperfide.bsky.social#TheBlackcoatsDaughter or #February by #OzPerkins
A great atmospheric horror movie. It unfolds slowly
👿👿👿
The only drawback is that you’re supposed to focus on the characters, but you end up being distracted by the famous actresses and the message gets lost
😵😵😵

@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyNext time make a movie more uplifting, like #Alien3 maybe.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyDid Katherine ever get picked up by her parents?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyGuess I forgive Bill for the minor character flaw of being creepy.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyAt some point these stories will coalesce and maybe I'll still be a awake. 😵💫
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyThe background music says something terrible is happening, but she's just playing the piano.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialI will never fall out of love with the fragmented and repeating timeline.
@kcarr2015.bsky.socialGlad I'm not the only one. 🤦♂️
@threedogheads.bsky.socialI found it kind of empty and thought it was an odd step backwards for Osgood. But what do I know?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyAre we supposed to be scared? Half the tension in this #movie is the creepy ass music. Put on some Duran Duran, they could be talking about the weather!
@threedogheads.bsky.socialOne thing I like about this movie is how it just keeps adding layers. Like a fugue.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialVery funny.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialDon't worry. We all know that POS now.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialThe gunshot cut to next frame is excellent.
@threedogheads.bsky.socialEvery season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY where she appeared I was immediately thinking:
First Girl! First Girl! Please let her be the First Girl!
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyWho picked this creepy ass movie and thought, "Sound good?" 😆
@threedogheads.bsky.socialAnd there she is...
I've been pretending all week that Emma Roberts isn't in this.
