Working on the family budget with #TheAdolescent. He’s learning to consider money in real terms. He figured out what(some of) *his* expenses are and said “that’s a big number”. I told him kids/adolscents are expensive

#TheAdolescent to his daddy: yes, I went to kickboxing and then I came straight home

#TheAdolescent to me: a 10 minute recitation of everything from his exit to his return, including demonstrations of the exercises and people he saw

(We live 3 blocks from his kickboxing. I wanna be a dad!)

Nope! I was up with #TheAdolescent before his first day of school. I’d love to be sleep doe!!

My coffee lady will be seeing me this morning. I deserve!!!

#TheAdolescent dad was here for the kid getting ready for his first day of school. Why this man got in the bed when the kid got out and SLEPT THROUGH it all???

At bedtime, #TheAdolescent asked if I’d be getting up + getting ready with him in the morning for his first full day of ESO (secondary school). I told him that his dad would be here. He asked “what that gotta do with you?”

I had #TheAdolescent watching #SupermarketSweep with me (when he asked to watch tv). We watched episodes with #LeslieJones as host. He loves her shoe game and might have a lil crush 😍🤩
