A silhouette of a child joyfully swings over a calm lake with a rustic house in the background. Text overlays capture a sense of imagination.

The only thing that ever flew higher than that swing was my imagination. How many of us can say we were allowed to just play outside and be bored? Wasn't it wonderful to be a little bored? It fostered our imaginations to soar as we swung higher and higher. I remember being on the swing staring at the clouds and sun and wondering everything I could about them. I loved seeing things, faces in the clouds. This piece portrays a silhouetted child as many of us had those short pixie cuts in the sixties. LOL...remember those cuts. My mom was showing us pictures of when we were growing up and our bangs....so crooked, we laughed knowing Mom just cut away to save time....LOL. Hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it. Love and Blessings~~ Laurie
