Anyone else got a house full of boxes you’re not allowed to throw out? Our living room is like a warehouse! Doesn’t help that you can’t argue with a lion of course 😹😹🦁🦁

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is perched proudly on top of a large brown cardboard box. He’s so lion like in this he looks like those lion statues that some people have in the pillars of gates at driveways 😹😹 His mane is made up mainly of snowy white fur and is surrounded by orange fur. His large snow dipped paws dangle casually over the left of the box as we look at him. Gizmo himself has a look of regal lion like authority which is why we’ve got lots of boxes we can’t throw out or he’ll sort us out! His green eyes say “don’t even consider it” 😹😹 A window looking out into the back garden letting afternoon light in is behind Gizmo and a floor lamp with a silver shade is to his right.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is on the right of the picture lying on a grey/silver/white rug and on the left is a skeleton bat Halloween decoration! It’s holding its bony wings out and in a great bit of comedy timing both are looking at the camera. They look as if they’ve been chatting or are news anchors at a desk about to read the news 😹😹 Both have large pointy ears but Gizmo’s win the day as they are twice as big with orange tips. Gizmo has a white patch of fur on his chest surrounded by orange and his two front snow dipped paws are cutely pointing off towards his bat friend. Two cat brushes are on the rug below where his paws are and there’s an open Lego box in the background.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sitting on top of a large brown cardboard box in front of a window looking out into the back garden as the sun sets here in Scotland and has been caught licking his lips with a large pink tongue sweeping out of his mouth that really doesn’t look like it belongs to a cat! Being that Maine Coons are in the top two of the largest domestic cat breeds, Gizmo is not your average cat of course but the tongue is still something else! He’s lit up with warm yellow glow of an unseen lamp to the right which gives a lovely tone to the picture.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is in loaf position on a grey/silver/white rug, with his front legs and paws tucked out of sight under his snowy white chest fur. As always he looks magnificently handsome with his beautiful green eyes, long white whiskers and warm orange fur but there’s a strange interloper at the top left of the picture blocking half of one of his large pointy ears! It’s part of Dadmin’s hand/fingers across the camera lens…in his defence it’s the new lens layout on his new iPhone and he didn’t realise until taking the picture that this had happened 😹😹 But perfection is boring and silly pictures are fun so it’s been posted!

Dadmin has covered his legs on a black blanket with colourful shapes (circles and hearts in red, green, blue, purple, pink, orange) to lure the Gizmo into settling in for a cosy afternoon nap despite the risk of not being able to move properly until Gizmo gets up 😹😹 Gizmo is very long - his back left leg and paw with its pink toe beans reaches back to the end of his tail then we follow a meandering river of orange fur all the way up his back towards his head!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sitting on his mum’s lap where he will be taking up residence for the day while Dadmin is out and about! He’s looking very pleased with this situation and his warm orange fur seems to glowing even more because of it! His large pointy ears are backlit by daylight coming in through a window behind him which only serves to provide even greater definition to the orange tips at the top of each ear. His green eyes are fixed on the camera too. Mum is mostly unseen but we can tell she’s there by the pink fluffy arm of her Barbie hooded top!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying on his back on a grey/silver/white rug showing off his long and luxurious tummy fur. It’s a mix of orange and white which creates a creamy look compared to the orange on his legs and head. The fur is much longer than the rest of his coat and you could easily lose hand in there! Not by Gizmo eating it of course, he’s very amenable to belly rubs! His head is at the bottom of the picture with its long white whiskers, green eyes and large pointy ears with orange tips. He’s holding his front snow dipped paws up towards his chest and chin in a cute effort to attract cuddles. It always works!

Orion 🌈 was a medium haired tabby who went OTRB July 2024. In October 2020 he had squeezed himself into a too small woven basket with his tail hanging over the lower shelf of the light wood coloured coffee table. 😹

A throwback picture of Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats playing around at a suitcase which mum was trying to pack for a holiday. Gizmo is in the case sniffing at a plastic bag which contains some cosmetics while Buddy sits outside the case. He’s looking up at the camera with a look that suggests we’ve caught him doing something he shouldn’t! Maybe he had plans to zip the case up and hope Gizmo got taken so he could have a break 😹😹 both boys have beautifully soft and shiny orange coats.

An absolute all timer of a picture from Gizmo today who looks every inch the magnificent orange Maine Coon that he is! He’s got his head tilted at a slight angle looking up left and has his mouth partially open, exposing the bottom large sharp canine teeth. Brown freckles can be seen on his lip/gums. His white whiskers are on particularly epic form and are so long each side reaches the edge of the photo! They curl up towards the ends and look spectacular! His green eyes are lit up as he meows (hence the open mouth) and his large pointy ears with their orange tips reach for the sky as always. Gizmo’s right paw extends out from underneath his white chest coat - it’s a large paw that looks dipped in snow. Overall this is a classic Gizmo shot - I’m biased but I’d rate it 11/10!

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sitting on a grey/silver/white rug and has his back right leg raised high in the air in a position most of us would dislocate our bodies trying to mirror 😹😹 if you’re that flexible then I salute you as Gizmo’s leg does! The snow dipped paw on the end of said leg is a bit blurry but we can make out a few pink toe beans hiding amongst the floof! Gizmo has his head slightly down and is leaning forward on his front legs. We get a good look at the top of his head which is extra orange with darker orange tabby style markings.
