#TCMImports is showing a Jacques Demy double feature tonight:

-The Young Girls of Rochefort
-The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

I definitely recommend both! The Umbrellas of Cherbourg is an all-time favorite of mine. #TCMParty

It's a double dose of Catherine Deneuve and director Jacque Demy on #TCM tonight - if you can stay up for it! THE YOUNG GIRLS OF ROCHEFORT (1967) at 2:00 AM and THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG (1964) at 4:15 AM. "ROCHEFORT" also stars Deneuve's sister Francoise Dorléac. #classicmovies #tcmimports

George Lucas modeled the story of #AmericanGraffiti on Federico Fellini's "I Vitelloni" (roughly translated as "The Slackers).

Interestingly, tonight's #TCMImports is a double feature of Fellini's two films #Amacord and "Il bidone". #TCMParty

My first Fellini. I was able to see it at a small multiplex in Canton, Ohio the year of its release. Those were the days. AMARCORD (1973), tonight at 2:00 AM on #TCM. #classicmovies #TCMImports #stayuplate
