The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is standing at the precipice of a historical milestone in space exploration. On October 19, the space agency, in partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), is scheduled to launch its heavy-lift H3-24L rocket from the picturesque Yoshinobu Launch Complex at the Tanegashima Space Center. Nestled on a tiny island off the southern coast of Kagoshima Prefecture, this coastal spaceport will once again become the epicenter of global attention as Japan prepares to showcase its next-generation heavy launch capabilities.
