Got some close up bird shots today. Even though I used the XT-3 instead of my XT-5 that's currently in repair, the details turned out gorgeous.

Fuji XT-3 + Tamron 150-500mm

Extreme close up of a Hyacinth Macaw's head, highlighting the vibrant blue plumage, a massive dark grey beak, and the striking bright yellow eye ring. The bird is looking directly at the camera against a soft, warm brown background.

A wet Kookaburra. The feathers on its chest are damp and slightly matted, revealing layers of brown, white, and subtle blue highlights. Its dark beak points upwards against a blurry wooden background.
