From the rock flows a stream.
Drawn from the wellspring.
Traveling the underground webway.
Sourced from a buried sea.
Its shape and size, yet unknown.
Glimpses and hints offered in signs,
Relief to the parched throat,
Shriveled forms of the secret faithful.

Waters that ebb and flow
Tied tides of the lunar pull.
In craters of a face of white,
Resting in that eternal wail.
The serene fields in which you reside.
Turned to blood when left no choice.
Your warnings wasted on the arrogant deaf.
Your bravery to cut, and strength to yet ache.

They say that when staring into the void,
It will stare back in time.
But the hazel expanse of your gaze,
Teems the stubborn insistence of life.
Dancing demons and ghosts,
Unseen, siren song that resonates the walls.
The flowing cadence of a voice so sweet.
Glimpses behind amber eyes, your cursemark.

Water, nature's great change.
Vapor, frost, and liquid.
The sharpest mind,
The softest heart,
The silliest girl.
Still you, thank god.
So little true beauty remains in the desolate.
But from you, it seems infinite.
