even when the jazz open the season with:
keyonte-okogie-lauri-jjj-hayes as the starting lineup, i promise we are still a serious team guys 😂

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialjazz cut the lead to single digits for the first time in a while on some harrison ingram free throws
it has not been very flashy, but this 3rd team lineup has played pretty well

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
he has been used SO minimally in the preseason, but i cannot stress enough how impressed i have been with JJJ. he makes no effort to over-impose himself
and it is ridiculous how easy it is for him to score if you just throw him the ball and ask him to
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialokay tray alexander is in (and continues to struggle to cross half court) so i am assuming darryn’s night is over
not sure exactly when it happened but it was nice to see him be able to flip into higher usage so easily
he was electric tonight
composed
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialjosh green is a fake defender & a fake shooter so i’m really hoping the jazz realize quickly and don’t play him much
the most value he can bring this team is likely going to be as a trade piece
if svi loses minutes for josh green i will be very disappointed

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialdarryn peterson steps back for 20 points and then follows it up with a defensive rebound and falling away corner 3
please don’t get your 6th foul darryn 🙏
(10/18) and starting to find rhythm. scored the last 7 jazz points in 3Q

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialDARRYN PETERSON POINT GUARD MINUTES 🚨
hope they end the third like this
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialthis is a fun lineup
collier-green-svi-okogie-bamba
a lot of speed around the outside just sending running people off their spot and sending them to mo bamba
a lot of ball handling too

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialtyus jones in a nuggets jersey just looks so right
and his point of attack defense is (somehow) smothering the utah jazz right now 😂
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialif you don’t like watching shai you are going to HATE watching darryn peterson
better get used to a lot of off-arm antics
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialisaiah collier mistaking defensive intensity for trying to fight julian strawther for absolutely no reason
almost had a fight but mo bamba broke them up

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialdarryn peterson (#2 draft pick) leads the team in scoring and we are highlighting jaxson hayes (domestic abuser) before the start of the 2nd HALF
whack.
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialso if nuggets pull aaron gordon in the 2nd HALF again then we surely will win this one by 20
he has 18 on (5-7) shooting and took 7 free throws as well
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
jazz down 6 at HALF after leading early on due to a foul fest in the 2nd quarter
darryn peterson leads the jazz with 12 points on (5-10) shooting but is (0-3) from deep and has 4 fouls
would like to see more ace bailey emphasis
65-59 DEN | HALF
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
the jazz have very few good defenders and even less disciplined ones and this second quarter has really helped show that
so many fouls. so many guys in the wrong spot just messing things up
keyonte has 5 fouls somehow in 12 mins
62-55 DEN | 35.8 • 2Q
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialpeterson just drove baseline and 100% got shoved in the hip and fouled but they didn’t call it and he then jumped out of bounds from under hoop and threw a beautiful pass to keyonte at the top off the key which led to an alley-oop
🏔️🏔️🏔️
@ulikejazzpod.bsky.social🎷🎷🎷
darryn peterson just hit an elbow jumper i expect we will see him take and make about a million times over the next few years
it was so pretty and i don’t think it will ever get old

Timeout Nuggets
Ace Bailey making some nice shots including a catch & shoot 3

@ulikejazzpod.bsky.socialjosh okogie working out of the short roll is going to be soooo nice when it’s JJJ & Lauri and not Mo Bamba
