@not-meowth.bsky.social"So in the stillness of the moment make sure you take a polaroid picture,
And keep it with you forever,
To remind yourself that everything changes,
But there was this one time, there was this one time, when things were OK."

@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai - small ones from a life of adventuring outside/working with Pokémon and kitchen tools. Nothing really noteworthy or spectacular. He sees them as part of learning.
Izzy - a few more severe ones from fights and accidents. Memories she'd rather forget.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai's is pretty much now, except with his Pokémon shelter constructed. His friends all help out, everyone wins
Izzy's is very close; the biggest difference is how she feels inside. She finds family and belonging in Kai and his friends, and purpose in her work
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai likes fall; it's finally a break from the summer heat and it means winter is just around the corner.
Spoopy Season is where Izzy is happiest. Cool weather, horror stuff center stage. She's most comfortable this time of year, physically and emotionally.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialI just got an incredible commission back from @senranx.bsky.social
Kai and Izzy together in her lab being cozy :3
Incredibly happy with the results! A typical goofy Kai, and a rare image of Izzy relaxing and actually looking happy.
Give Sen a follow!
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai likes action and comedy movies. Thrillers and scifi movies are cool, also likes old noir movies and westerns.
Izzy likes action, comedy, and horror (all kinds). Also enjoys mysteries and thrillers, sci-fi stuff, especially cyberpunk stuff like bladerunner.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai and Izzy both like cities, but Izzy is partial to larger, busier cities. More places to disappear and things to get into.
Kai likes smaller, more semi-rural cities where he can vanish into some woods or find a small local feed & seed for supplies.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai will do whatever. He prefers face to face or phone. He's a Chatty Boi and likes to yap.
Izzy hates talking to people unless she has to; she prefers text. Failing that, face to face is ideal.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai is an open book. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Very feelings driven guy.
Izzy: The Fort Knox of Emotion. She took a month to open up to Kai at all and has still barely told him anything about her past. She's convinced he's sincere, but she's not ready.

@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai will eat fast food, but he'd prefer something fresh. He likes burger joints and has a ranking system for them.
Izzy has the palate of a 6 year old, and tends toward things she doesn't need to prep and are shelf stable, so she'll eat almost any fast food.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai and Izzy are trainers!
Kai's team is Absol, Umbreon, Glaceon, Fletchinder, day form Lycanroc, and Tinkaton. He'd like cats and dogs the most.
Izzy's is Porygon-Z, Scolipede, female Meowstic, Toxapex, Dragapult, and Iron Jugulus. She'd love cats and bugs.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai & Izzy are a set but:
Kai ✔️
Music/memorabilia, food/recipes, Pokémon toys (for his babies), tea, maps
Kai 🆖️
Impractical things; scrimscrams/knicknacks
Izzy ✔️
Electric components/programming guides, music, silly little doodads, coffee, fruit
Izzy 🆖️
Flowers
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai would listen to music, probably read some, then just relax and play with his Pokémon; just be a goof for a day.
Izzy would just research something else; her brain doesn't do well with time off. Kai would drag her off somewhere to distract her and have fun.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialIzzy is a tech genius; mostly on the software side. She dabbles in custom cases and physical mods for fun, but is focused on programming.
Kai is fairly savvy, but no expert. He's more than comfortable with operating and basic troubleshooting of common tech.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai's not gullible, he's trusting (He's not dumb, he's just too nice; he believes in people). He does get fooled at times.
Izzy takes everything with a heaping pile of salt; she frequently tells Kai to be more careful around people. She doesn't trust easily.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialOh it's Kai (and also his Absol)
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai would be a terrible spy, he's too trusting & honest. He'd get easily fooled and just plain be a terrible liar.
Izzy has very dirty hands (cleaner lately), & she's not built for social situations. Very aggressive and antisocial. Public speaking is no fun.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialKai would suggest he and Izzy do a group painting thing; he'd think it sounded fun and she'd go along for him.
They'd both be terrible, but they'd have fun. Izzy's technique would be more technical, Kai would be 100% vibes based; entirely happy accidents.
@not-meowth.bsky.socialMy pair is tall girl and smol guy.
I like mean girls; they're tough but once you finally earn their trust they'll fight god for you.
I don't like when someone comes along and a relationship fixes all their problems. Kai and Izzy both learn from each other!
