What a great week! A high-level fundraising meeting on the Science Road and SWEAT Africa to advance innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa in New York. Together, we are working to advance a supportive ecosystem that moves science from labs to create companies. #SWEATAfrica #ScienceRoadAfrica

One of the most relaxing things is to avoid planes and use the train. Beautiful trip in the rain from Boston to New York today to meet Houda Ghozzi, PhD Richard Gordon and many ecosystem builders and funders of translational science and innovation in Africa. #SWEATAfrica

After three intense weeks of work and hosting over 100 international visitors and running some of the most advanced bioinformatics and virus evolution training, time for a break #WorkLifeBalance #SWEATAfrica #Science #VEME2026
