S (as in sense, #sight, and #smell) and T (as in #touch and #taste) are noises that carry long distances easily to hear from afar, ones most difficult to #susurrate, so people learn to #whisper without enunciating them, replacing S with ZH and T with D, or just omitting the #sound entirely.
