SUNDAY SCARIES 34: AND THEN THE GUY WHO LEFT HIS LAUNDRY SPINNING ALL DAY CAME BACK & PUT HIS STUFF IN THE DRIER FIIIIIIIVE MINUTES BEFORE MY LOAD OF RUGS WERE DONE & YOU CAN'T IMAGINE HOW FURIOUS I WAS. HAD 2 TAKE THAT OUT 2 BTW. I WAS DOING LAUNDRY FROM 4:30-10:30 & I'M NOT KIDDING #sundayscaries

a single sheet newsletter called sunday scaries, issue 34 oct 4 2026. alt text character limit prevents a full transcription, but please reach out if you'd like one. the first article is "more water, please" about how somebody's laundry was stuck on a spin cycle for three hours, i finally ran a new spin cycle for it & then removed it and did my own load, but then when i came back my load had a SUD error & i had to remove the filter to clean it. unfortunately, i basically flooded the basement and couldn't shove the filter back in partway through when i realized what a bad decision i'd made because it was full of CANDY WRAPPERS. so then i had to clean all that water up and then i had to restart my laundry and then i had to do a new load with all the wet and dirty towels. crazy saturday night. second article is "surprise!" about a tiny rodent skull i found in a plant i got recently. third article is "not complex" about how i got some cast irons out of storage and then called my parents about how to clean and season them, since all the guides online are super complicated. it's literally not complicated. "four desserts" is about how i went to the grocery store without a plan and basically only purchased desserts. "container craving" is about how suddenly i started caring that packaging is ugly and now i want things to be in new, unobtrusive and stylish containers instead of branded bags and bottles, even though i thought that kind of behavior was wasteful and stupid before. but maybe that's what happens when you're in your mid thirties.
