Anyway, I’m frothing at the mouth over this art by @uncannydirge.bsky.social! D&D AU #sunbat! 💕 In my mind, she has the biggest crush on him and he has no idea 😂 But he’s also one of the few people who treat her like a person and not a devil.

Usually fried eggs over medium, toast, bacon, and hashbrowns. For Steve’s birthday, she usually makes chocolate chip pancakes with little smiley faces and whipped cream hair.

Hmm… I think maybe Briar reminds me of a desert rose or (I wanna say dahlia, but I think that’s the horror nerd in me) maybe a poppy.

Desert rose fits, since it symbolizes resilience and growing through hardship.

Poppies also fit surprisingly. They represent resurrection or rebirth.

I just had the cutest idea where Briar ends up supporting Steve working his way through college. He’d probably feel awkward about it at first, but then he gets his turn when Briar loses her job and has to struggle to find a new one.

Supporting each other is their mutual love language.
