@deborahlawrenchale.bsky.socialI wish my daughter, Alice, was (ok, were) here. She can’t be thanks to fucking #SUDEP - Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy - which took her from us on 4/20/2015 10 days before her 30th birthday.
Alice was spending that night with us, which was something she did when she was afraid she might die.

On April 20, 10 days before Alice’s 30th birthday, she succumbed to #SUDEP - Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy.
Our experience showed us “Autism didn’t exist in the 80’s”.
