the light shining through the door brings color to the room. behind the door is one of [P]'s tendrils, watching over him. Lorne is looking back his expression unreadable
the room is actually pretty messy with items such as a pill box, shirt, bandages and patches. Lorne is sitting right beside Captain's coat
its greyscale cause i wanted to show how his life got noticably dull after the fire, the messiness on the other hand is both Lorne's inability to take care of himself and a direct representation of his collapsing mental health

i really do think about how lorne came to the realization that this creature is his old friend. i like to think that even when he first saw him, [P] felt familiar. kind of like a 6th sense thing. he just. knew it ok. hed be terrified at first for sure but still feel deep inside Lorne would feel safe in his presence
i had to rush this second drawing + the alt text so its not the best sorray. tho i do have alot of drawings of them that i want to share after subtober. yes

herbert and lorne sitting at the beachside together in more of a sunset setting but shh its still sunlight nontherless
lorne has a pleasant smile on his face, enjoying the rare moment where he gets to see sunlight. right infront of him is c_gal uploaded on a digital clock, relaxing alongside him. its not exactly visible but hes burnt to a crisp. hes enjoying himself a little too much KILL
herbert on the other hand is leaning against a cooler in the darkest corner, reading a book. he has a salty expression on his face. he isnt exactly enjoying their time outside

yes i dont know how to draw feet and to be honest i dont want to learn how to do so i draw paws instead its a #cute little detail in my art
