COMSOL Multiphysics 2027 Brings System-Level Modeling and Agentic AI to Simulation

COMSOL will release Multiphysics version 2027 this fall, introducing COMSOL Systems, an add-on product for creating system-level models that couple directly with 1D, 2D, and 3D multiphysics models. The other main addition is COMSOL MCP Server that lets external AI agents execute simulation workflows through the COMSOL API. The release also adds an Electric Motor Module, a faster time-periodic solver, macOS and Linux Application Builder support, and new acoustics, meshing, geometry and structural-analysis capabilities.
