Today, 3 October, is Stoma Awareness Day. On 6 November I will have surgery that will result in two stomas - an ileostomy & a urostomy. Please read the information in the picture below & pledge your support to everyone who is living with or preparing to live with a stoma. #StomaAwarenessDay #IBD

Today is #StomaAwarenessDay - here’s what I’ve learnt in the past nine weeks:

- mine is called Sven (when he’s good). Getting him quite literally saved my life.

- I have to wear a small bag almost all the time, as I have no control over my output.
