A family secret summons a demon in #OtherMommy. Jessica Chastain gives a great dual performance as the career driven mother and demonic title character. Arabella Olivia Clark as the tormented child is also terrific. #STMM

Tom Cruise is the larger-than-life oil title character in #Digger, and he’s not. It’s a film with a split personality and that does it no favors. It merely brings a stop to the momentum of the story sold in the trailer. #STMM

Chris Hansen is as much the villain as the pedophiles he traps in #Primetime. As the show gets popular, his desire for fame grows as well. Robert Pattinson mimics Hansen’s voice perfectly. The film is a tense study of a man self-destructing. #STMM

Zach Cregger’s #ResidentEvilㅤ honors its video game roots without being slavish to them. For an origin story, this is a fun ride for anyone both familiar and unfamiliar with the games. There’s plenty of gore and humor throughout. #STMM

The Korean sci-fi monster flick #Hope is a surprisingly enjoyable ride, despite a 160 minute runtime. It doesn’t waste much time getting us into the action but doesn’t show the monsters until about halfway through. Plan your fluids and enjoy the thrills. #STMM

I can’t begin to describe the horror black comedy fever dream that is #Buddy but it is by far the most imaginative film I’ve seen this year. #STMM
