Hands of Fate

Briar H (Dreams_of_Cyan)

Summary:

The timer on Steve's wrist has been stuck at 224 ever since he was born. He has no idea what it means. As far as he knows, no one else's soulmate timer is broken like his. Maybe his soulmate died or something, before he was ever even born.

He has no answers, and no idea where to even look for them. All he can do is muddle through and hope that something changes.

But he's not prepared for it when something finally does.

This fic was written for the Steddie Big Bang 2026! With accompanying art by hellfireloserclub on tumblr!
