In more than 850 000 adults with #SteatoticLiverDisease, the steatosis-associated fibrosis estimator (SAFE) score provided the greatest net benefit for identifying 10-year cirrhosis risk and may help guide repeat surveillance. ja.ma/4xGTuBh

Line graph shows net benefit of 9 clinical risk scores for cirrhosis intervention vs. 10-yr risk threshold. FIB-4 & SAFE show high initial net benefit. "Treat all" drops sharply at low thresholds. All curves converge to near zero net benefit at higher risk thresholds.
