You didn't start the fire that's burning "The House that ACTRA built" Kate Ziegler but you and your RCAP contemporaries on #ACTRA Toronto Council have played a huge role in keeping it going.

#ACTRAToronto President Ziegler's Canadian Comrade "ALL for us and ONLY for us" prattle is fodder for an episode of 'South Park'.
The commercial lockout in Canada will be 4 1/2 yrs old in Oct
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.social#ACTRAToronto President Ziegler would say "there's nothing wrong with being a waitress" to avoid alienating the workers who make so much less than a working actress
Kate would have found plenty wrong with being a waitress if she wasn't making enough money to keep her house
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.social"This is a house on fire. The Industry is watching ACTRA Toronto closely, uncertain who -or what- can be trusted."
- Former #ACTRAToronto Councillor/ Former #ACTRA Toronto President/ Former ACTRA National Treasurer Theresa Tova's Resignation Letter Feb 6, 2026
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.socialThousands of #ACTRAToronto union members are questioning their place within #ACTRA Toronto itself.
And they're questioning ACTRA Toronto's place within ACTRA National.
They aren't thinking about ACTRA Toronto or ACTRA National's place within the labour movement.
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.socialAnd each year, the number of #ACTRAToronto union members who become aware of just how divided the union is from within grows exponentially.
Thousands of #ACTRA Toronto union members are communicating with one another in the same way that the RCAP communicated with them,Kate
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.social"The tariff fight is absolutely focused on Artists"!?!
Hardly anybody in Canada cares about the stories that the 'Artists' in #ACTRAToronto want to tell Canadians.
The only thing the Artists in SAG-AFTRA are focused on is getting American productions to stay in the US.
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.social#ACTRAToronto President Ziegler isn't the first #ACTRA Toronto representative to 'borrow' (steal) from an American icon to promote Canadian Culture.
Here's former ACTRA Toronto Councillor Colin Mochrie bastardizing an MLK Jr. speech :
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.socialWhat next?
Are the #ACTRAToronto union members who've been losing the bet that they placed on themselves going to DEMAND that the Ontario taxpayers reimburse every SOL 'Artist' for every losing lottery ticket that they buy along the way?
@hollyweirdnorth.bsky.social2026 was an extraordinarily foolish time to launch the #ACTRAToronto campaign for Status of the Artist legislation in Ontario.
Stop acting like everybody in Ontario is going to forget who they are if they don't remember who you are.
Get over yourself, Kate.
