So, yes, some of the Tachikoma Days gags (BTW, there is one more after the final ep) will die on the grounds you don't even know the question, let alone the punchline. Only get the Anchor Bay set if you really wanna upgrade or don't have #StandAloneComplex #GhostInTheShell

...you still get sound, you still have all the episodes, it doesn't have weird functions. Oh, and to top it all off? No song translations. You pick the dub, you don't pick a subtitle option, no signs no songs translated. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

I at least got a trailer and some story boards when I shelled out my money for the second Digimon collection, AND better sound for it. Hell, I got a couple of extras in the Planetes Blu-Ray. Even if the Bandai stuff doesn't come with that many extras... #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

I don't know what it is, but Anchor Bay put out one of the worst blu-rays I've ever had to deal with. Sound was off in a couple of spots, there's NOTHING other than episode selections and language changes, it's one of those where X doesn't stop the anime... #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

This is where I have to say if you have the Bandai collection, KEEP the Bandai collection. Oh, the blu-ray does a fantastic job restoring the eps as they look gorgeous...but that's where the line is drawn. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

It's a great series and if you're a fan of the franchise but wanna keep the philosophy of Oshii's movie without all of the insanity of Shirow, or think the movie should've been a little more fun, #StandAloneComplex is right up your ally. #GhostInTheShell

As much as I love the overall story arc, it's the stand alone eps that are some of my personal favorites. I loved the philosophy behind "YES," I loved seeing Batou trying to move on from being mentally broken, as a movie lover I loved the movie ep. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

It shows a world that needs Section 9, a world where heroes aren't afraid to take on a group that has the power to fight back. Each of the stand alone eps also told a bit of a story, be it a typical day of the team or little info about the team themselves. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Out of all the multiverses of #GhostInTheShell, #StandAloneComplex has always been my favorite, behind the original, ahead of Rise, and now tied with The Ghost In The Shell. It's a brilliant blend of the manga's and movie's philosophies and tells a story that resonates today more than ever.

...Section 9 gets called in for a mission, with the major and the others signing in, and Batou smiling at the major (Meaning that whole "Bitch" comment was just him playing around with the guys). #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Turns out the Laughing Man went through a lot with Cyberization and has the brain hardening MS. How he got involved? He found a blackmail document that got lost in the web by happenstance. So, if he never found the thing that got lost, this would never happen. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex
