I had two partially filled bobbins that have been sitting for a while, so I decided to ply the merino & alpaca together and free up 1 bobbin + make room for more alpaca. It's REALLY soft and plush.

rediscovered the #spinningwheel last night. it did get me wondering why we spin. it's pure joy for me. then i wonder why there are not more #spinners in this world. then again: why spin? only for the sake of spinning or do others actually spin yarn they use?
