After focusing on cyberbullying this week, I think one of the biggest takeaways is that everyone has a role in making online spaces better. We can choose not to participate, support others, report harmful behavior, and use social media to spread awareness instead. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

Social media advocacy can help bring attention to cyber bullying because information can reach thousand of people quickly. Hashtags and educational post can encourage conversations that might not happen otherwise. Awareness is one step towards creating change. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

An important part of creating safer online spaces is remembering that there is a real person behind every account. It is easy to say things online that you might never say face to face. I believe basic respect should still apply, even when we are behind a screen. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

Cyberbullying prevention should start with education. Students should learn how to recognize harmful online behavior and report it. Social media can be part of the problem, but it can also be used to spread awareness and encourage change. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

I think bystanders have an important role in stopping cyberbullying. You do not always have to directly confront someone to make a difference. Reporting harmful content, supporting the person being targeted, and refusing to join in can all help. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

One reason cyberbullying can be so harmful is that posts, comments, and messages can reach a large audience very quickly. Something that starts as a “joke” can seriously affect another person. We should think about the impact of our words before posting them. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26

Social media can connect people, but it also make bullying easier to spread. Cyberbullying can follow someone beyond school and into their personal life. I think we need to take online bullying more seriously and encourage people to speak up when they see it. #StopBullying #SPCH6V1Fall26
