#soloseptember Bruno is to perform at the park in Stoleby. He's staying in a private area for guests with a Japanese vibe. Drawing a scene like this is like slowly taking in the local; rolling on exploration tables to add details to add for the PC to interact with.

Bruno Jet is going to perform at the theme park, so he and his sidekick get to stay in this vip area. It has a Japanese feel to it with suites for guests. A stair leads up the first level with rocks and pond and a small waterfall. The next level is two suites on either side under a tree; dice rolls added a guard at one and a women chilling on the other. The next level is where the PC will stand and then a building up too for someone important.

6 elements were labeled and for each I rolled on the exploration tables. A npc based on a story thread gives us a doctor by the pond, a guard at one suite and a older women watching us at the other. The door into the park is blocking our way.

Drawing takes time, but having a world appear and start to have elements to explore is so much fun.

#soloseptember This map has off perspective since I did not really plan out where things would go. It is a fictional Danish town of Stoleby, known for it's furniture factory and Tivoli Gardens want-to-be. Slowing down my solo ttrpg campaign to draw a map is worth it!

A page in a solo ttrpg journal, a pen and ink drawing of a map of a fictional sea side town of Stoleby, Denmark. The perspective changes in different area since there was not a lot of planning. It's wonky, but functional for the game.

A river cuts through the town and leads to it emptying at the beach. At the top is the Tivoli Gardens inspired theme park, middle a furniture factor, and at bottom a cheese factory by the bus stop.

#soloseptember One part of this hobby I love is drawing maps; they give context enough for your adventure to continue with vagueness to leave room for imagination. They don't have to be perfect, but allow you imagination to blossom.
