#OnThisDay in 1988, Canada signed the Japanese Canadian Redress Agreement, formally acknowledging the injustice done to Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. By confronting these events, Canada demonstrated that #SocialProgress begins by recognizing the past and learning from it.
