Day 14 of #inktober2026 Lady. Another of my #SnakeAndDagger characters making an appearance. The lovely Cecilia Tregarron #TheMerryWidow #ArtYear #art #TraditionalArt #drawing

A pen drawing of a beautiful woman in Regency dress with some text next to her reading 'Known as 'The Merry Widow'. Formerly Lady Cecilia De Quincy. She is now happily married to Nathaniel Tregarron, the bastard son of the Earl of Carstairs. No longer a lady by title, but always considered as such by those who know her well."

Day 11 of #inktober2026 Rescue. I couldn't miss the opportunity to draw my #SnakeAndDagger characters. Here's poor #SilasCooper, yet again questioning his life choices, as he saves #MissMercy from a situation purely of her own making #ArtYear #art #TraditionalArt #drawing

A pen drawing of a tall, handsome man, with grey-white hair grimly carrying a petite, semi-conscious woman down a Cinderella path, with a yellow-orange setting sun behind him.

Finally finished my last larger painting of the year (I think). It took ages, due to having a lot of boring house stuff to do. #SnakeAndDagger #StellanHolmgren #TobiasSmith #ArtYear #art #TraditionalArt #painting

A symbolist acrylic painting of two handsome men. The taller one has his arm draped over the other man's shoulder. The shorter man, Tobias Smith, has tight blond curls, and is surrounded by wheat and poppies. There is a lowly cottage in the background. The taller man, Stellan Holmgren, has sandy hair and a long face. There are Scottish thistles and delicate, tiny bell-like flowers (twin flower linnea) around him, representing both Sweden and Scotland. Behind him is the Scottish castle he lives in. Above their heads is a bought of ivy, denoting the loving, steadfast love they have for each other. There is a Maggie for Stellan the jewel merchant, and a Jay, the most colourful covid, for Tobias. In the centre is a dagger with a snake curled around the handle, for the Snake and Dagger organisation they belong to. They are dressed in Regency clothing. The background is gold.

I finished my newest painting project. Well, I think it is finished. I could go on messing with it, but I will ruin it if I do. It's called 'Honeysuckle and Hedge Bindweed' and features my characters Silas and Miss Mercy #SnakeAndDagger #ArtYear #art #TraditionalArt #painting

An acrylic painting of a man and a woman surrounded by greenery and flowers. The pretty woman has very curly grey hair. She is surrounded by Foxgloves and cornflowers at the front, and honeysuckle behind her. There is an European Robin in the honeysuckle. The man is handsome, with long, straight, white hair. He is tall and well built, where the woman is much smaller. He is surrounded by Hedge Bindweed. There is an owl perchedbehind him, to the side of his head.
